Sonny Liew is a Malaysian-born artist living in Singapore. The current artist on DC's Dr. Fate, he's worked for both Marvel and Vertigo, and been nominated for an Eisner for his work on Disney's Wonderland. His latest personal opus, The Art of Charlie Chan Hock Chye, is a meta-fiction masterpiece that tells the secret history of his Southeast Asia.

Matt and Sonny discuss the challenges facing Asian artists looking to break into American Comics, and the benefit of a degree from the right school, while explaining the groundbreaking story mechanic of Sonny's latest, sure-to-win-awards graphic novel.
